William WHITE, school teacher in this county for 47 years died at his home at Alamo Tuesday at 5. Mr. White was well known in Montgomery County where he taught school for 47 years, retiring some years ago he made his home at Alamo where he last taught and reached the ripe old age of 83 years. Mr. White was a graduate of Wabash College, class of 1893, and was married twice, the last wife, Prudy WALTERS White survives along with a son and two step sons. He was a member of the Alamo Masonic Lodge and the Waveland Christian Church. The funeral for him was in the Alamo Christian Church conducted by Rev. George Beatty on Friday afternoon.
